Infamous released today!!!

Great news, Infamous is released today finally. I have the Demo and I have to say I like it a lot. Flaws here and there on the Demo version that hopefully got "fixed" for the release. This game has awesome action in it, it looks fantastic and plays like second nature. I am sure to purchase this one in the near future. On a side note I went to Best Buy yesterday and I saw a PS3 Bundle I have not seen before I don't know if it was always available or I just didn't pay attention before, but it has two games two controllers an HDMI cable and a PS3 bluetooth remote for $399. It looked like a pretty sweet deal. Watch out for the movies at Best Buy though, I was going to buy a movie there for a discounted price(there was a tag proving this), but the movie I took up to the counter I swear was the one on the label bu it rung up for much more and I said "that movie was supposed to be much less" and the cashier said "this is the price for the 1 disc movie of the same exact name" and I let him know the tag describing the sale does not specify if it is for a 2 disc or a single disc unrated director's cut.....so I didn't buy it.well I just wanted to get that out. see you next blog.

drag me to hell

In theaters on May 29th Directed by the guy who brought you the Evil Dead Trilogy, Darkman and the Spider-Man movies, Mr. Sam Raimi. This movie seems to be fairly entertaining(from what I gather from the previews)sadly it will probably just barely hold us over until another(rumored)Evil Dead installment and we will probably see a Spider-Man 4 before that comes to surface. Well here is the location of a newer preview so you can assess for yourself whether or not you want to go see this movie on the 29th.

Terminator: Salvation

Terminator: Salvation is gonna be one of the most high impact movies EVER!!! I so can't wait to see it. I saw Star Trek the other day and I have to say I liked it a lot. They followed formula for that movie perfectly. Before I saw it, I was not very excited to see it and I was not disappointed. With Terminator: Salvation, I am excited to see it. The previews are awesome and from what I can tell (unlike with the previews of Star Trek) it is keeping with the aesthetic and emotional feeling of the original movie but with much bigger action. I will update on whether or not it delivers the awesomeness that it advertises. I read about a game adaptation coming to PS3. I suspect it will be less than desirable, as most movie-to-video game adaptations have proven time and again. Let me name a few Friday the 13th(NES), Top Gun(NES), Addams Family(NES) and (Super NES), Rambo(NES), RamboIII(Genesis/Mega Drive), Goonies(NES), Platoon(NES)......etc. I just realized, Most of those are for NES...Looks like I am a little too old school for my own good. Well Sayonara till next blog.

3D Glasses and Blu-ray?

Execs in Hollywood are hoping to bring "3D" home from theaters by use of glasses. I don't know if I could tolerate the headaches that would ensue. I think this is yet another failed attempt to bring 3D home, people do not want to have to accessorize to experience entertainment. It never really stuck in the past and I don't think it will work now or in the future.
